Haya is in her third year of a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Sciences with a minor in Chemistry at Dalhousie University. She is a TA at Dal as well as a TD of Sodales, the Dalhousie and King’s debate society. She has a great interest in medical research, especially when it comes to pathology or biochemistry, but she is also very fond of teaching and mentoring other students. After graduation, she is still trying to decide on whether to apply to medical or graduate school. When she has free time, you’ll find her either volunteering, reading a book, or trying to sketch something, but usually with mediocre results.
