Mady is currently in her third year of a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of New Brunswick. Camila Lefebvre

Camila is in her second year of the English Honours Bachelor of Arts program at the University of New Brunswick with a minor in French. Camila is currently working towards a publishing certificate. This position will allow her some first-hand experience in the editing field. Camila wishes to become an author and be involved with the publishing industry. Reading and writing have been her passion since childhood and she hopes to bring in new editing skills to the ASRJ team, as well as learn valuable tools from the wonderful writers and editors she will be engaging with.

Eke Ndukwe Kalu

Eke is currently in his third year as an Electrical Engineering student at the University of New Brunswick. He is passionate about research and deeply committed to the ASRJ’s mission to make it more accessible to the Atlantic student community. In addition to his degree, Eke is pursuing a diploma in Technology Management and Entrepreneurship and a Minor in Computer Science. He is fascinated by the intersection of media and technology in a digital age and committed to using his skills in automation and Embedded systems design to understand and shape these tools. Most pertinently, he is an avid reader, cinephile and Chelsea Fan.

Hope Reinders

Hope is a fourth-year student at the University of New Brunswick, studying Biology-Chemistry. Academically, she is interested in organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, women’s health, and cell biology; as well as how these disciplines intersect. Much of her spare time is spent in the great outdoors: hiking and cycling in the summer, and skiing in the winter. Kate is currently in her second year of a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of New Brunswick. Kate completed her first year in science but transferred to Kinesiology after her first year as she wanted her studies to focus more on the human body and movement. Kate wishes to pursue a career in education or health care with focuses on rehabilitation or pediatric physiotherapy. In Kate’s free time, she enjoys re-watching tv shows, movies and going on walks.

Jhanvi Joshi

Currently pursuing a double major in psychology and economic studies, Jhanvi Joshi’s ultimate professional goal is to normalize the concept of mental health across the globe especially, to backward regions where it hasn’t even been introduced yet and if it is, there’s a stigma associated with attending to one’s mental health. For co-scholastic activities, she likes to read and write in her free time. Jhanvi is originally from India and is a big Bollywood buff apart from being a foodie. Her personal aim is to travel across the world and absorb in the history behind different places.

Haya AbdelWahab

Haya is in her third year of a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Sciences with a minor in Chemistry at Dalhousie University. She is a TA at Dal as well as a TD of Sodales, the Dalhousie and King’s debate society. She has a great interest in medical research, especially when it comes to pathology or biochemistry, but she is also very fond of teaching and mentoring other students. After graduation, she is still trying to decide on whether to apply to medical or graduate school. When she has free time, you’ll find her either volunteering, reading a book, or trying to sketch something, but usually with mediocre results.
