Jenna is in her final year of a Biology degree at the University of New Brunswick. She is passionate about research, particularly in the health field. She has explored this interest through research projects in the fields of pathology, epidemiology and developmental biology. When she’s not doing school work, you can find her hanging out with her ten roommates or going for a run. Jenna aspires to have a career in healthcare after she graduates.

Madeleine has worked as a research assistant in a microbiology lab at UNB where she used molecular techniques to study the stress response mechanisms and gene expression of a bacterium that fixes nitrogen for plants. In the future, Madeleine hopes to pursue a career in the medical-related field. When Madeleine is not studying or working in the lab she enjoys volunteering with Best Buddies, going for hikes, hanging out with friends and doing CrossFit!
