The conference, which is attended by faculty and students from institutions throughout the Atlantic Provinces, will feature oral and poster presentations by students, keynote speakers, and awards for the best student posters and presentations.

Atlantic Universities Physics & Astronomy Conference

AUPAC is a conference that empowers undergraduate students. The bulk of the conference is giving opportunity to undergraduate students to present their research to their peers and academic faculty. Other features of the conference are: Guest Lecturers, a formal banquet, the return of “AUPAC Cup” (a friendly skills based competition), on location meals, and the opportunity to network with graduate programs from across the country. (The planning team has sent invites to every departmental member of the Canadian Association of Physics with a graduate studies department to attend this year.)

Following a speed networking format, students will sit in groups and will receive invaluable tips from UNB alumni on career and professional development related topics. The session will be held Tuesday January 29, 6-8 p.m. in the Chancellors Room of the Wu Centre.
