Siyum is in his third year of Kinesiology at the University of New Brunswick. His interests include studying orthopedics and spinal research, specifically exercise following lumbar or cervical surgery. Siyum wishes to pursue medicine after his undergraduate degree. Besides school, he is also a volunteer at the Saint John Regional Hospital, and is a volunteer research assistant at the Canada East Spine Centre. During his free time, Siyum enjoys playing and watching basketball, reading, working out and making music.
