Reid is currently in her fourth year of concurrent Biology and English Literature degrees at UNB, with a concentration in Marine Biology. Though Fredericton was quick to become her second home, she will always be a proud Nova Scotian — and you can usually find her wandering around a farmer’s market or a beach when she’s not studying. Reid’s research interests lie predominantly in the field of elasmobranch ecology and physiology, and more specifically, in shark science--though she also works as an Aquatic Technician for the Canadian Rivers Institute. Over the course of her collaboration with the ASRJ, Reid looks forward to helping make some of the incredible research happening in Atlantic Canada more widely accessible.
