Lua is studying Biology at the University of New Brunswick Fredericton. She has a keen interest in global health and pediatric medicine. For her honours thesis, Lua is researching the effects of metformin and a low glucose diet on lung cancer cell proliferation. When she’s not counting cells in the lab, you can find her obsessively crying over “This is Us”, lip syncing songs on Snapchat, or planning her next trip.
