Dr. Englehart is an Associate Dean and Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of New Brunswick, a senior member of IEEE, and a fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering. Dr. Englehart focuses on research with Machine Learning for Rehabilitation, Computational Motor Control, and the Modeling of Neural Systems. Not only has he written more than 160 peer-reviewed publications, but he has spearheaded several commercial R&D projects in aeronautics, speech recognition, defense systems, and neural engineering.
