The main goal of my research program is to identify strategies to have more people being regular exerciser. My current projects focus on older adults, and people living with chronic conditions such as obesity and cancer.

Her lab studies the fate and effects of trace metals (e.g. copper, cadmium, nickel) in natural waters, to provide new knowledge and tools to help better manage these environmental contaminants.

Mr. Goreham is a third year, PhD candidate in the Faculty of Health at Dalhousie University where he is studying sport biomechanics. His research includes developing inertial sensor technology to quantify sport technique, specifically in canoe kayak sprint. He has worked as a sport scientist with the Canadian National Canoe Kayak Sprint team and the Kansas City Royals of Major League Baseball. His other research areas of interest include technique changes due to fatigue, skill development of athletes, and exercise physiology.
