Marketing Director (x1)

Position Title: Reaching Higher Marketing Director (x1)

Term: April 2022-March 2023

Role Description

The roles of the Marketing Director include but are not limited to working closely with the conference team to promote the event, share speaker and session details, run virtual contests on social media platforms, and incentivize attendance and the application process/ticket sales. Additionally, this person must maintain a strong social media presence on conference accounts on the day of the event, and release summarizing content in the days after. Each member of the team is expected to attend weekly meetings which may be online or in person, depending on the status of the pandemic. Moreover, each member of the team will be expected to collaborate with the event Co-Chairs and assist those holding other roles when necessary.

Delegates Director (x1)

Position Title: Reaching Higher Delegates Director (x1)

Term: April 2022-March 2023

Role Description

The roles of the Delegates Director include but are not limited to working closely with the Sponsorship Directors to complete delegate bags and take the lead on delegate registration and ticket sales. Additionally, this person must work with the Marketing Director to develop and share content regarding applications/purchasing information for delegates as well as incentivize attendance. Each member of the team is expected to attend weekly meetings which may be online or in person, depending on the status of the pandemic. Moreover, each member of the team will be expected to collaborate with the event Co-Chairs and assist those holding other roles when necessary.

Sponsorship Director (x2)

Position Title: Reaching Higher Sponsorship Director (x2)

Term: April 2022-March 2023

Role Description

The roles of each Sponsorship Director include but are not limited to working with one another to secure a conference budget, prizes, and materials for delegate bags from sponsors. Additionally, these two people must keep track of all conference revenues and expenditures in one detailed, well-organized, and maintained document. Each member of the team is expected to attend weekly meetings which may be online or in person, depending on the status of the pandemic. Moreover, each member of the team will be expected to collaborate with the event Co-Chairs and assist those holding other roles when necessary.

Speakers Director (x2)

Position Title: Reaching Higher Speakers Director (x2)

Term: April 2022-March 2023

Role Description

The roles of each Speakers Director include but are not limited to working closely with each other as well as the event Co-Chairs to secure speakers for the event. This includes recruiting potential speakers, providing them with resources from the team, and meeting with them pre-conference to establish an outline of their talk or presentation. Additionally, these two people must provide speakers with a template slide deck and work to develop a post-conference “thank you” package to be delivered to each speaker or panelist. Each member of the team is expected to attend weekly meetings which may be online or in person, depending on the status of the pandemic. Moreover, each member of the team will be expected to collaborate with the event Co-Chairs and assist those holding other roles when necessary.

Logistics Director (x1)

Position Title: Reaching Higher Logistics Director (x1)

Term: April 2022-March 2023

Role Description

The roles of the Logistics Director include but are not limited to working closely with the conference team as well as external partners to secure the conference venue (or, in the case of a virtual event, the platform that we will be using). Additionally, this person must work to develop an event itinerary for the conference, confirm a menu (complete with options for those with dietary restrictions) should the event take place in person, and assist with delegate registration. Each member of the team is expected to attend weekly meetings which may be online or in person, depending on the status of the pandemic. Moreover, each member of the team will be expected to collaborate with the event Co-Chairs and assist those holding other roles when necessary.
