James Tang

James is currently studying Biochemistry at the University of New Brunswick. Growing up in Fredericton, James discovered very early on his love for STEM; he enjoyed challenging himself in various enriched classes throughout middle school and high school. Research in Atlantic Canada has mostly fallen under the radar of the general public’s perception, and yet there is so much happening in right in our backyard. James hopes to explore new ideas and to be able to bring some well-deserved attention to these topics. In his free time, James likes to spend his free time working out, playing badminton, and sleeping.

Christopher Lee

Chris is working towards a Major in Biology and Minor in Mathematics. His deepest interests lie in understanding mechanisms at the smallest scale, which are leading him to pursue a MSc followed by a PhD. in Genetic Analysis. In his eyes, knowledge is the most powerful weapon on earth, and believes that the ASRJ is the best medium to empower younger students. You can find him hiking outdoors, listening to the greatest of musicals, or getting kicked out of a Rolex store.

Daniel Hanscom

Daniel is currently at the University of New Brunswick majoring in Biology and minoring in Mathematics. His academic interests include medicine, population genetics, and biochemistry. After Daniel achieves his Bachelor Degree he’s hoping to pursuing a career in the healthcare field. Apart from drowning in textbooks he can be found at the gym, in the line at Tim Hortons or jamming out to the Tragically Hip!

Chantelle Masterson

Chantelle is a Renaissance College graduate with a minor in Biology from the University of New Brunswick (UNB) and is now continuing her studies at UNB as a Computer Science student. Chantelle works at the Ville Cooperative where she has been a Research Assistant for the iGenNB: Intergenerational Living for Community Well-Being project, and is currently working as the Computer Systems Consultant. With a passion for the fine arts, the great outdoors, and her community, you can find Chantelle painting, hiking, rock climbing, or volunteering.
