“Harrison is in his fourth year at UNB, completing a joint honours in History and Political science. Harrison’s academic interests include late modern labour history, Canadian history, the politics of imperialism, and class in the 20th century. Upon graduation, Harrison plans on attending graduate school and later completing a PhD. He currently serves as the Vice President Internal for UNB’s History Society. Harrison’s passions lie in recovering the stories of those often left at the margins. In his free time, Harrison enjoys writing, playing music, lifting weights, and connecting with family and friends.”

Having graduated in 2021 from UNB’s Biology-Chemistry program, Kathleen is enthusiastic about medicinal research and intends to pursue a career in this field in hopes of bringing innovation to the bedside. Outside of her research interests, Kathleen volunteers with Girl Guides of Canada where she leads activities that encourage girls to grow in their confidence and explore the world around them. In her spare time she can be found outside either mountain biking, rock climbing, or skiing. Her love of the outdoors contributes to her passion for sustainability and goal to protect the places she has the privilege of using.

Kate is currently in her second year of a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of New Brunswick. Kate completed her first year in science but transferred to Kinesiology after her first year as she wanted her studies to focus more on the human body and movement. Kate wishes to pursue a career in education or health care with focuses on rehabilitation or pediatric physiotherapy. In Kate’s free time, she enjoys re-watching tv shows, movies and going on walks.
Reid Sutherland
Reid Sutherland graduated in May 2022 from UNB with a Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours in Biology. Reid attained concentrations in Marine Biology, Aquatic Biology, Wildlife, Ecology, and Conservation. She also obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English, and has recently begun a Masters of Marine Management at Dalhousie University. Reid hopes to hit the water with the Dalhousie Sailing Team this Fall. Outside of research and work, she loves playing rugby, listening to music, reading, and finding a farmer’s market on weekends.

Incé Husain
Incé is studying mathematics and neuroscience at the University of New Brunswick, and aspires to pursue computational neuroscience in grad school; she enjoys the idea of probing the philosophical concepts inherent in brain science with mathematical precision. Rebecca is a student at the University of New Brunswick, Fredericton, going into her fourth year of a Bachelor of Science program with a major in Chemistry, and she is expected to graduate in 2022. On this project she worked as a data analyst.

Emily is going into her third year of a Bachelor of Science at the University of New Brunswick, Saint John, with plans to graduate in 2023, and she is taking a double major in Biology and Psychology. On this project she worked as a data analyst.

Griffin is a student at the University of New Brunswick, Fredericton, pursuing a concurrent Bachelor of Computer Science (class of 2020) and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology (class of 2021). Griffin is entering his Master of Applied Cybersecurity at UNB Fredericton and is expected to graduate in 2022.
