Position Description:

As a Marketing and Client Services Coordinator, you will be the first handshake of our organization representing the firm professionally in many forms of communications. You will also support activities relating to our clients, marketing, and day to day operations of the Ignite Fredericton/Planet Hatch/Knowledge Park team.


Position Requirements:

  • Completion of a Bachelor's Degree or relevant college diploma (journalism, communications and/or marketing concentrations are considered an asset but not required)
  • One to two years of relevant experience in a professional, deadline-driven office environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work well under pressure, with competing deadlines, while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
  • Ability to present a confident, professional demeanor
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and diplomacy
  • Proficient writing, editing, and grammatical skills
 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the content creation and management relating to the corporate website and marketing materials, including social media and other marketing automation tools (e.g. Hubspot, Webflow, Full Story)
  • Monitor social media accounts and responding to questions and concerns
  • Through daily media scan and research, provide insights to the team about industry, latest trends, and relevant topics
  • Researching key economic data and market information to support economic development efforts
  • Perform full cycle reception functions and operate as first point of contact for guests including answering and filtering all incoming inquiries
  • Maintain and manage the corporate contact database
  • Event and meeting support including arranging catering, preparing materials and assistance with set-up and registration
  • Schedule and coordinate client and team meetings, including minute taking
  • Miscellaneous administrative tasks including proofreading, filing, compiling meeting materials, ordering office supplies and acting as liaison with external service providers
  • Perform other duties as required
